About your guide
Hello, my name is Jason "SPUD" Barton I will be your Guide/Host on our adventure's. I
was born and raised in Central Texas and grew up fishing area lakes and rivers. After
many years of fishing area lakes I have a intensive knowledge of lake contours, both
surface and bottom structures that consistently hold fish. Many years of competing in area
and organizational tournaments I have consistently placed in the top rankings. Just this
past 2009 season I have 2 top 10's, 2 top 5's and finished 1st in the Central Texas Catfish
tournament trails "Classic" on Lake Limestone where I also took big fish of the tournament.
A little more information about myself is I am a proud father of 4, member of a area church,
and volunteer on the local fire department where am I am carry such license's and
certifications such as: EMT-ECA, Flood/Swiftwater Rescue Swimmer, CPR, and several
national NIMS certifications as well as many others.
What I offer is a safe enjoyable day on the water for my clients, their families and friends.
All trips will be prearranged with customers and catered to their individual requests and
needs. My Goal is to not only put you on the fish but also share my knowledge of the
equipment, technique's of fishing for catfish, the area lakes, landscapes and provide
enjoyable day on the water! Looking forward to talking with you & scheduling our trip.
